SAVE THE DATE

The BrigidFest Committee is working hard to continue the wonderful tradition of celebrating Irish and Australian women each February. It is our intention to hold the event as a lunch in conjunction with The Celtic Club, however, a virtual backup plan seems prudent. We will keep you updated!

We are delighted to announce the speaker for BrigidFest 2021 is The Hon. Gabrielle Williams MP. Gabrielle has a great interest in Irish Studies and we are so pleased to have her speak about Irish women and their struggle for gender equality.

About the Speaker
The Hon. Gabrielle Williams MP LLB, BA (Hons) is the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Minister for Prevention of Family Violence and Minister for Women in the Victorian Government.

Gabrielle is well versed in Irish Studies with a particular interest in women of the Irish resistance.
