The Importance of Being Earnest –
The Radio Play!

Directed by Jennifer Sarah Dean, the Director of 2019 Bloomsday and played by the cast of the upcoming Bloomsday spectacular, Travesties,  Bloomsday brings you the most loved comedy of all time. Wilde’s play comes in for inventive gambits in Stoppard’s Travesties.

This is a ‘radio play’ reading – complete with sound effects! – of Oscar Wilde’s brightest and happiest work. One performance only – don’t miss out!

This staged reading is a fundraiser for our Bloomsday Festival 2019, in particular helping to pay for Bloomsday’s talented cast and crew. 

When: 3pm on Sunday 14th April 2019

Where:  Celtic Club at Metropolitan, 42 Courtney St, North Melbourne. Afterwards, the bar will be open for Wildean and Joycean chat!
