Nature of Event: A seminar paper in the Melbourne Irish Studies Seminar series by Patrick Morgan, talking about his new book, The Mannix Era. This is a well-informed social and cultural history of Melbourne, focussed around the controversial Archbishop who so strongly and controversially shaped Irish-Australia.
When: Tuesday 16th April at 6pm for 6.15pm. Meet the Irish Studies community over a drink beforehand, and join those who take the speaker to dinner afterwards.
Where: Oratory, Newman College. Enter the cloister on the right of the main entrance (in front of the chapel) and take first staircase on the right to first floor.
