Irish History Circle – 19 June 2017

Nature of Event:  The first is ‘How to Inform, Educate and Entertain your audience’, presented by Brian Gillespie. The second is ‘Celtic Consciousness’, presented by     Renee Huish. In more detail:

Significant events have taken place in history recently that have placed Ireland, as an independent country, in a respected place on the world stage.   Apart from those who died in the Easter Rising this place has, by and large, not been earned by famous people but rather by the collective actions of the people themselves.

This topic will be presented via a cameo of a personal journey followed by an open forum. Members of the audience will be invited to refute or expand on the propositions put forward thus adding to a dialogue on what we mean by Celtic consciousness.

When: 7.30pm, 19th June 2017.

Where:  3rd Floor, Celtic Club, cnr Queen and LaTrobe Streets, Melbourne.

Cost: Free
