Event: Parade and Celebrations for St Patrick’s Day in Adelaide

Where: Adelaide City and Adelaide Oval at Memorial Drive 

When: Saturday 11th March (Parade) and Friday 17th March (Adelaide Oval) from 8 am to late

This year in Adelaide sees the usual parade on Saturday March 11. But on the Friday, March 17, the main celebrations will take place at the Adelaide Oval on Memorial Drive from 8am through to late, the result of a collaboration between the Irish Club and Adelaide City Council.

This larger profile is in keeping with the established ‘Mad March’ in the city that starts with The Adelaide Fringe, then the Adelaide Festival, the Clipsal 500, Writers Week, WOMADelaide, and now St. Patrick’s Day.
The day wiladelaide-ovall feature Irish dancers, pipers, live music, face painting, and a Gaelic Football demonstration. Food and drink will be available all day, from breakfast through to dinner.
