| Join us for a great night of conversation at our next Celtic Connections event Thursday 19th October, with special guests Tom and Meaghan McGlynn, original cast members of Riverdance. We have the pleasure of hosting Tom McGlynn the lead singer for Riverdance in 1994, and Meaghan McGlynn, the first Australian Irish dancer recruited by Riverdance at age 19. Tom and Meaghan have some great stories to tell and look forward to sharing their insights into what it was like to tour with Riverdance over that initial 6 year period 1994-2000, post the Eurovision launch. Tom is also brother of the famous Michael and John McGlynn, singers, songwriters and producers of ANÚNA. As quoted by Andrew Hozier Byrne (member of ANÚNA) from 2007-2012: “I learned a lot about singing techniques, and even composition from director Michael McGlynn and Anuna”.
