Seoirse Ó Dochartaigh  will talk briefly about his book Sunlight & Shadow followed by:

• Seán Ó Riada’s ‘Ceol an Phiarsaigh‘ (An Tine Bheo)
• T.C. Kelly’s setting of Pearse’s ‘The Mother‘ (Veronica Dunne)
• Extract from Seóirse Bodley’s 2^nd Symphony ‘I Have Loved the Lands of Ireland’ – (Commemorating Pearse’s birth) – National Symphony Orchestra
• Patrick Cassidy’s setting of Pearse’s ‘Mise Éire‘ (Sibéal Ní Chaiside)

Seoirse will give a short concert of songs and stories associated with the Gaelic League and Pearse’s great love of the Irish tradition.
