Event: Lecture: ‘Commemorating 1916: Visual Art and Memory’ by Dr. Emily Mark-Fitzgerald, the School of Art History and Cultural Policy, UCD.
(Final 1916 Centenary event at the Pearse Museum)

Further information: Dr. Mark-Fitzgerald is the author of a number of publications including ‘Commemorating the Irish Famine: Memory and the Monument’ which was published in 2013. She is also the curator of our current temporary exhibition in the Pearse Museum, ‘The Museum of August Destiny’, which runs until Sunday 8th January 2017.
