The Tinteán editorial team wish all subscribers and contributors a peaceful and prosperous 2016.
Athbhliain faoi shéan agus faoi shona daoibh.
The editors are taking a well-earned break over the Christmas/New Year holiday. Our next online newsletter will be on the 6th February 2016.
In the meantime, we thought we’d share with you some of our – and your! – favourite posts in 2015. Many posts proved very popular and our readership statistics stayed buoyant and improved throughout the year. We’re looking forward to an even better year in 2016.
There is a lot happening in 2016 so keep posted! We will continue to publish the increasing number of items we receive in the ‘What’s On’ category from events and conferences around the 1916 Commemorations, to celebrations of the 75th anniversary of James Joyce’s ‘Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man’, to the many tours/gigs being undertaken by Irish and Irish-Australian bands and musicians around Australia.
We welcome contributions to the magazine and comments on our articles/reviews. We would also welcome a keen and enthusiastic sub-editor willing to give a few hours a month to some nitty-gritty editing tasks – but alas do not have the wherewithal to offer monetary remuneration. Good work experience? If you are interested let us know on firstname.lastname@example.org,au.
Happy New Year to all our readers and contributors.
