Brian Shanahan, President of the Celtic Club and Phillip Moore Chairman of the Cultural Heritage Committee are delighted once again to invite members of all our Cultural Groups and Reciprocal Clubs across Victoria to our Special Annual Dinner which recognizes and celebrates the great contribution made by each group to our culture, heritage and history.
The event also creates the opportunity for each group to share and discuss with others their various activities of the year.
This annual Dinner is normally at the end of the year however as we will be soon be leaving the Club for temporary accommodation, this celebratory Dinner is being brought forward and at the same time will also be a farewell to our building of 58 years which contains memories of our life and events within.
The event will be further enriched by our guest speaker; the Irish Ambassador HE – Breandan O’Caoilai, who will speak to us of our Irish culture and his experience and insights of our Australian Irish culture, gathered as he has travelled on his many visits to our people and places across Australia.
This will be a unique event and we want and encourage all to attend.
