I would have preferred AB Diarmuid Martin from Dublin at Newman College to have mentioned the importance of women in the coming Synod on the Family and links to Evangelium Gaudium.. As Mary McAleese said to Francis I, do any of the Cardinals who will examine the Instrumentum Laboris have any experience of being a spouse, living with a woman, or changing a nappy? Let alone SEX if one has time for it??? And these are essential for living family life? Arn’t they?
