Irish YouTube sensations, the Rubberbandits are unleashing their riotous rhymes on unsuspecting Melbourne crowds. With sold-out shows from New York to London and a Chortle award under their belts, now these urban plastic-bag-heads from Limerick make their Comedy Festival debut with their hilarious comedy rave.
Their satirical hit single ‘Horse Outside’ became a global hit with more than 10 million views on YouTube, with follow ups ‘Roisin, I Wanna Fight Your Father’ and ‘Blackman’ showing that these boys were no one-trick ponies.
Fresh from their award-winning Edinburgh Fringe season (Chortle Best Musical Comedy 2012, Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality 2012), Rubberbandits are bringing ‘feral funk’ to the Festival.
